The Dangers of Boilers

A high pressure vessel of any type is dangerous. But boilers can easily top the list.  Think about the pressures found inside these large structures. And steam boilers are extremely dangerous. This article highlights why regular maintenance, daily checks and high respect for boilers is so important. The explosion that occurred in this article sent a piece of a boiler over 500 feet where it went through the roof of another building killing two first-day employees.  Use extreme caution around boilers!
