Let There Be Light!

Our latest poll asked the question 'how are fluorescent lights measured.' The correct answer is in eighths.

That's why the designations given fluorescent bulbs are T12, T5 or T3. For example a T12 means it is a tube that measures 12/8 inches in diameter or 1 1/2 inches. A T5 would be 5/8 inches in diameter. The smaller bulbs are more energy efficient and many buildings and homes are moving to these smaller lights.
