Hand Sanitizer Studies Requested

Hand sanitizers have become a common site in schools, businesses, doctor's offices and especially hospitals. Their use is obvious. Help prevent sickness and the spread of disease. Now the FDA is requesting more information about these products, some of which contain an ingredient called triclosan, which I posted information on last year in regard to antibacterial soaps. While most hand sanitizers contain alcohol and chloroxylenol, the FDA wants more information about absorption rates and potential problems when used long-term.
