She Will Be Missed!

On May 1, 2014, Louise Tchekou, our beloved night custodian  at Tahoma Senior High School passed away in her sleep.  She had been with the district since December 12, 2005. She was loved by all and an inspiration to many.
Louise always had a kind word, a positive view and a spiritual outlook to everything she did. People were drawn to her happy disposition and her willingness to share. Her concern for others and her desire to help were her trademark.
Louise’s profile was featured in the Custodial/Maintenance newsletter in the April, 2007 issue. (Volume 5, Issue 10) Having come from West Africa, Louise was fluent in several languages and dialects. She has family that live in the Maple Valley area as well as family on the east coast and in West Africa.
Louise cooked great food, sent unclaimed lost and found items to Africa to help those in need and always treated everyone as her family.
We will miss Louise every day but we are left with a wonderful memory of an inspirational and fantastic lady!

Funeral Services are scheduled at Eastridge Church, 24205 SE Issaquah-Fall City Road, Issaquah, WA on Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m.
