I'm always interested in new technology and more efficient ways of doing things. More can be accomplished and a better job done with advancements in procedures for cleaning and maintenance. I ran across an interesting article about a new technology. This highlights what I am talking about. (http://openpr.com/news/39577/Any-windows-can-be-self-cleaning.html) If we are more efficient, we not only save ourselves time and effort, but we also do a better job maintaining our buildings. Think about where the world is now compared to a century ago! Technology has played a huge role in advancing society. True, technology has its down side and often the side effects are devastating. But if used judiciously and conscientiously, technology can be a real boon to both the user and recipient.
Educating custodians, school staff, students, parents and the public on the duties, responsibilities and needs of a school facility. Working to make the custodial department more understandable and hoping to engage the support and help of all who use the campus. Sharing information on several cleaning-related, health and custodial topics to enlighten readers and requesting input from all who peruse this blog.
