Herding Cats

Is your job like herding cats?  If so, then today is for you.  December 15 is National Cat Herders Day.  You can only imagine what it's like to try and herd a clowder of cats.  They're quick, mischievous, sneaky and conniving.  Try to grab one and another gets away.  

Many jobs are the same. It seems like you are always trying to get a hold of or take care of one thing when another one rears its head or goes off in another direction.  But, despite the challenges of performing a job that's like a clutter of cats, it is a job and you do get paid, and you continue to push ever onward.  

So, in celebration of these fuzzy feline friends and the mirror-like jobs we do when trying to "herd cats", think about today and what it means.  National Cat Herders Day!  Meow!
