You hear the word "antibacterial" and immediately you think that's a good thing. "It will kill the germs!" "It will prevent the spread of disease." Now studies are showing that maybe they aren't that great after all. In fact, they don't do much better than ordinary soap and the use of them could have detrimental effects, especially for children.
