A Pain of Ash
With the recent eruption of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, schools within a few miles of the eruption are experienceing massive cleaning challenges in trying to keep the schools free of ash. The ash is coating everything in the buildings and custodians are constantly cleaning and dusting to keep up. Some schools shut down due to the ash and others are open and closed depending on the level of pollution from the fallout. ABCnews.go.com reported on these conditions and the difficulties involved.
