Self Disinfecting Door Handle

There's always a cool idea that can be designed and built to help humans in a positive way. This brief article was interesting for three reasons. 1) The door handle is coated with a mineral that helps prevent the spread of disease. 2) It is activated by a UV light built into the handle. 3) The power for the light is built into a gear box that creates electricity when the door is opened and closed.
