You've probably seen them in your home or other homes or even in businesses. That dark, grungy line along the edge of stairs, underneath doors, along the edge of furniture skirts or underneath curtains. The dark lines are called "filtration lines".
Basically, the carpet acts as a filter and "filters" out the pollutants in the air and deposits them along these areas where the air movement is higher. (Edges of stairs, underneath doors, etc.) Over time, these lines get very dark and very difficult to remove.

Grime can really be a cringe-inducing irritant, seeing as how it is so difficult to scrub away. It's as if you need a special kind of stealth to get rid of that stuff, or maybe a really effective equipment will do all. Point being, it's not something worth dealing with for more than another second, and the quicker you can resolve it, the better. In any way, thanks for sharing that! All the best!
