Copper, Brass, Corrosion and Sweaty Hands
The close connection in preventing the spread of disease by various electrochemical means in copper and brass has been known for centuries. Now, however, more light has come to the fore suggesting that the salt in people's sweaty hands can actually inhibit this ability within an hour or so.
