Last Resort Antibiotics Failing
Bacteria and other microorganisms often develop resistance to drugs and antibiotics over time. When that occurs other drugs or antibiotics are often used to counteract the failings of the original ones. But what happens when you get to the end-of-the-line and there are no more drugs or antibiotics to use? That's the big concern right now with an enzyme found in many bacteria called NDM or New Delhi metallo.
