Waste Water is Energy

Conservation of energy is imperative in our day and age. Buildings suck up energy due to lighting, heating, cooling and other related utilities. On a grander scale, all the buildings in a city suck up megawatts of power due to the infrastructure and the number of buildings that make up the city.
Environmentalists, scientists, building owners and managers, city officials, governments and the public in general are always looking for ways to conserve energy.
To date, numerous modifications have been implemented that are saving energy. Better lighting techniques, more efficient heating systems, controlled irrigation and water usage, energy-saving devices and a list of other fascinating procedures have been put into practice. Newer buildings are mandated to have many of these features as part of their construction and many older buildings are being retrofitted, recommissioned and remodeled to incorporate these enhancements.
The next big savings appears to be coming from waste water. Millions of gallons of heated waste water can be tapped in closed-loop systems to provide energy and prevent energy loss.
Read this article to open your mind to another new field of energy conservation that may be on the horizon for buildings around the world.
