In a previous post, I talked a bit about the way custodians are perceived. I mentioned how they are often viewed with disdain or below average; the bottom of the barrel so-to-speak. Backing up this observation, I ran across an interesting article about a Fortune 500 man who took a job as a janitor. He expressed the same feelings of how he was perceived by others when doing janitorial work. I think you'll find the article interesting. Check it out here.
Note: Not all view custodians or janitors with disrespect. There are those who are very appreciative and wonderful.
