MSDS = SDS

Our poll which closed yesterday in 2015 asked what the new name for MSDS's was. The correct answer is SDS.  MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet and is used to describe chemical products, their composition, health concerns, and more.  They are used by firemen and those using the products, especially in case of an emergency.  Now, these sheets have been changed to SDS which means Safety Data Sheet. It is part of a worldwide move toward streamlining and universalizing chemicals around the globe.  New symbols and more detailed sheets have been produced so that these sheets can be understood in all countries that partake. More information can be found online at numerous websites.
